Wisdom Tooth Extraction

WHY WISDOM TOOTH EXTRACTION?

Relief From Troublesome Wisdom Teeth

Wisdom teeth often lack room to come through properly. They can become impacted, painful or infected, and can damage neighbouring teeth. Removing them carefully brings relief and protects your oral health.

THE PROCESS

What to Expect

An X-ray shows the position of the wisdom tooth and nearby nerves.

The area is numbed with local anaesthesia, and other comfort options can be discussed.

3

Careful Removal

The tooth is removed gently. If it is impacted, a small opening in the gum may be needed.
