WHY CHILDREN'S EXTRACTION?

Gentle Removal of Baby Teeth When Needed

Most baby teeth fall out on their own, but sometimes a tooth needs to be removed early because of infection, decay or injury, or because it is blocking a permanent tooth. We do this gently and with care for your child.

THE PROCESS

What to Expect

We explain everything in simple words, use numbing gel first and take our time with your child.

1

Examination & X-ray

We check the tooth and its surroundings, and explain the plan to you and your child.

2

Numbing

A numbing gel is used first, then local anaesthesia, so your child feels no pain.

3

Gentle Removal

The tooth is removed gently, and the area is cleaned.

4

Aftercare & Space Plan

We give aftercare advice, and discuss whether a space maintainer is needed.
